Some brief information/content on Foot and Heel Injuries.
Foot & Heel Injuries:
Injuries to the tendons in the lower body, ligaments, and muscles are very common. Your legs and feet endure constant stress or pressure due to the amount of time you spend walking and standing, as well as from the pressure they endure during physical activity and sports. It is because of the excessive amount of work your feet undergo daily, they are often prone to developing a variety of painful conditions that can plague your feet.
Common Heel and Foot Injuries
The most common types of feet pain can be centered on and/or develop around the heel of the foot. The heels of the feet often hit the ground at high velocity or with great pressure. This happens during running or any other physical activity which would deliver excessive amounts of weight, pounding, or force against the heel. The heels of the feet are prone to receiving the brunt of physical stress. Therefore, it is important to be able to address these painful conditions when they occur in order to treat the painful conditions and keep them from coming back.
